it is finished.

Friday was quite the exciting day,
First we have the job interview, which i guess went well. I got a couple of previously unheard of questions such as what does ISBN stand for (International Standard Book Number, it's something a librarian should know. you use it a lot in cataloging.) AND the most cringe inducing question, "I called your supervisor, can you tell me what he would say were the good things and the areas for improvement on your evaluation?" ARGH! "Uh, well he said I suck, completely. Cause he didn't want to cope with how much his plan for the library sucked..." Well actually I told them the positives were my knowledge of libraries, books and my enthusiasm and my negative was problems with discipline, which I explained by discussing how I was taking over for a librarian who showed movies.

So they might call tommorrow, monday, which is scary. I'll have to stay home and sit nervously by the phone. I was feeling somewhat confident/okay, however right now I am starting to feel kinda squirelly. (hah! there's a shocker!)

ANYWAY, friday evening, I, like many others got my grubby little hands on Harry Potter 6. I was very impressed with the awesome effieciency of the barnes and Noble. I had number 192, and we were out the door by 12:15. I read from about 1-2:30 ish, then slept till 5:30, when I decided I could no longer sleep, and would just read for a little while. And by 7:55 I was done. Finished, fini, fertig. And of course, emotionally scarred for at least the rest of the day, if not longer. the problem is reading the book and KNOWING THINGS, yet not being able to discuss. I made a prediction that Hagrrid was the "half blood prince" and I was for sure wrong. And, as in past books, JK lays it all out, if your smart, you could figure it all out before the end, but perhaps, if you are emotionally invested at all, you won't figure it out, till the end when it hits you like an evil dead fish. sigh. Without revealing anything, I thought it was good, more tightly writen than the last two, love seeing how the charecters have grown and changed, how true they are to 16 years olds. The end is a little soul crushing, but thank god there's something good to soften the blow.

I wanted to go to a "Flea-Tique" today, figuring it would hold the best of the flea market world and cheap old stuff, but alas I am in basement of mom and dad doing laundry, staying cool and fretting. There's a show about flea markets on PBS right now and it's kinda killing me. But I have no money, since Ollie and I are in danger of the edge, hopefully momito and daddito will bail us out a bit....

i cried my eyes out at the end of harry potter. oh my gosh. i just balled like a baby. it was SO good!!!

but i need your opinion! i do not think snape is really bad. i can't explain it, i just think maybe he killed dumbledore because he knew he had to in front of all those death eaters in order to keep up his sharade. and his unbreakable vow forced him to as well. or maybe ijust have a strange soft spot for snape. i can't help it.

i was so happy about harry and ginny! i thought they were gonna get together like 2 books ago, but they sure took their time about it. the next book is gonna be amazing. how are we supposed to wait!? she hasn't even started writing it yet!

oh and i'm so glad harry is done with puberty. cause he was mad annoying in the phoenix.
